Community Connect: We're here to listen

05 09 2025 Thrive 60

This year, we're bringing together the best of Thrive Homes' Open Door Day and Watford Community Housing's Big Door Knock to create something new: Community Connect.

On Wednesday 23 September, colleagues, Board members and members of the Gateway Membership Team from across Chime Housing will be out in neighbourhoods meeting residents, delivering our customer newsletter, Connect, and – most importantly – listening to what's important to customers.

Community Connect is about having real conversations with residents in our communities. We want to hear about your experiences, understand what matters most to you, and make sure your voice helps shape the services we provide.

Come and say hello!

Wednesday 23 September | 10am - 3pm

Look out for your invitation

By now, you will have received an email inviting you to take part in Community Connect.

The email includes a short survey where you can let us know if you'd like a visit from a member of the Chime Housing team on Community Connect Day.

If you’d like a visit, we'll pop by and talk about anything that's important to you. Whether you want to discuss your home, your neighbourhood, our services or simply share feedback or ideas, we’d love to hear from you.

What can we talk about?

When we visit, we'll be guided by what's important to you. Whether you have feedback, questions or ideas, we'd love to hear from you. We can also:

  • Talk about any concerns you may have
  • Discuss ways to improve your neighbourhood or communal areas
  • Help you access our online services and customer account
  • Tell you about opportunities to get involved and have your say
  • Signpost you to support services if you need a little extra help

Why are we doing this?

Community Connect is about more than delivering a newsletter or knocking on doors. It's an opportunity for us to connect directly with residents, celebrate our communities, and better understand how we can support you.

By listening to your feedback and ideas, we can continue improving our services and make sure we're focusing on the things that matter most to our customers.

What if I'm not in?

We know not everyone will be home when we’re in the neighbourhood. If we miss you, don't worry. There are plenty of ways to get in touch and share your feedback with us.

You don't have to wait for the Community Connect day to speak to us. You can contact us at any time through our website, by phone, or by speaking to a member of our team.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!
