Electrical safety tests

We carry out electrical safety tests and inspections in all our rented properties every 5 years.

Electrical safety reports

We produce electric safety reports based on our finding when carrying our electrical safety test. All customers can request a copy of an electrical safety report for their home or communal areas.

To request a copy, please contact us.

Managing electrical safety work

We carry out and manage any electrical follow‑up work identified during safety tests and inspections, ensuring all issues are resolved quickly and to required standards.

Where required, we will install, test, and replace battery/hard-wired smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. This work is carried out at the same time as your annual gas safety check.

Electrical safety process for accessing your home

We make a maximum of three attempts to access your home to carry out electrical safety checks or works. If there is any difficulty gaining access to your home, we will take legal action to gain access where necessary.

Reasonable adjustments

We will do as much as possible to provide reasonable adjustments or additional support to help residents access and understand our services and complete safety checks.

Please let us know if you have any accessibility requirements or need further support. Sharing your information also helps us to keep our homes safe and make sure our services are meeting your needs.
