Thrive's Emma Murphy joins the NHF’s Building Safety National Group

We are delighted to announce that Emma Murphy, Assistant Director – Business Assurance and Risk at Thrive Homes has been invited to join the National Housing Federation’s (NHF) Building Safety National Group.

The Group will help shape the sector’s response to the new system of building regulations proposed by government and support housing associations towards a smooth transition into a new regulatory environment, whilst ensuring the voice of residents is heard.

In response to joining the Group, Emma Murphy said, “I am passionate about building safety and ensuring we do things to the best of our ability so that we can keep our customers safe in their homes.

“I’m delighted with the invitation to join the NHF Building Safety National Group as there is great value in sharing best practice. Working together we can better learn and develop for the future safety of our buildings.”

As an organisation, Thrive is actively working in line with recommendations from the Building Safety Bill that is due to receive Royal Assent in Spring 2022.
