Sheltered Housing

Sheltered housing is individual, self contained flats or bungalows that are grouped together in a 'scheme' with communal gardens and communal lounge for social activities. 

it is there to actively support and maintain tenants' independence, provide a safe and secure living environment and promote social activities to help dispel loneliness and isolation.
