Increasing the font size
There are various ways to alter the font size displayed by your browser:
- In most browsers you can press Ctrl and + or - to alter the display.
Ctrl and 0 or * usually resets the default font size. - Alternatively, pressing Alt then V usually activates the browser's 'View' menu, which normally contains options for altering the text size.
- Additionally, if you have Javascript and CSS enabled in your browser, you can use the 'Text-size' icons at the top of our website pages to select from three text size options.
If you have cookies enabled in your browser then your preference will be remembered for future visits to our site.
Accessibility standards
Pages on this site use valid HTML and CSS, as validated by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Downloadable files
Downloadable files from this site - for example, Adobe PDF files - may present accessibility problems.
PDF files are universally readable on any platform but require a piece of software called Adobe Reader. This may already be installed on many machines, in which case simply clicking on a PDF link should open the file. If you do not have Adobe Reader on your machine, it is available from Adobe as a free download (this link will open in a new window).
